The 2025 Debate Intensive

Fill out the following form to begin your registration for the 2025 Debate Intensive! This year, four camp sessions are available from July 13 – August 16, held at the University of California, Riverside.
Both residential and commuter options are available. More details about the camp, including transportation information, are available here.

Camp Sessions

The Debate Intensive Five-Week Intensive – Five weeks of intensive debate instruction. This program combines our comprehensive, three-week core curriculum with two additional weeks at the second camp session. Recommended for the most competitive students and those who wish to move from intermediate to advanced competition within the course of the summer.

The Debate Intensive Core Session – The Core Session is our largest and most popular program. It offers a thorough, comprehensive curriculum for Lincoln-Douglas debaters of all levels. We recommend attending this program if you are only available to attend one session of camp.

The Debate Intensive Second Session – A two-week condensed version of our Core Lincoln-Douglas debate curriculum. This smaller program offers a cozy camp environment and is ideal for LD debaters of all levels who are unable to attend the Core Session.

The Second session will also feature a policy lab designed for beginner and intermediate students. Students who plan to compete in policy debate during the 2025-2026 school year should register for the Second camp session.

Please make the check for your tuition amount out to "The Debate Intensive." Checks should be mailed to 2919 Angus St., Los Angeles, CA 90039. Please include the student's name, session they are attending, and their resident or commuter status on the memo line of the check.
Refund Policy*
I have read and understood the refund policy for my purchase: Before March 15: All of your tuition, minus $500 if you paid in full, can be refunded. When you pay, a $500 portion of your tuition is never refundable at any time for any reason. March 15 – April 15: Up to 50% of your tuition can be refunded. After April 15: No refunds are accepted.
